What
is a homeopathic doctor : What
is homeopathy
It
is believed that homeopathy is a complete system of medicine. But
all well qualified homeopaths recognize that there are some illnesses
where its limitations become evident. This is not to say that in
these sever cases homeopathy can't be supportive- it can! It simply
means that demand conventional treatment becomes that much more
important. For example, even the pioneer Dr. Hahnemann recognized
in his time that surgeries were absolutely necessary in some cases.
Nevertheless, because homeopathy is prescribed by virtue of the
patient's overall symptom picture, it can be prescribed as a form
of integrated treatment in almost any situation. Children seem to
respond particularly well to homeopathy and they enjoy taking the
medicines, which are sweet. Animals, too, can be treated successfully
in many cases. With many fields of application, there are more popular
and successful areas of use than can be mentioned on one page.
A word of advice to the patient: There is certainly a place for
homeopathy in the management of mild to moderate anxiety, depression,
and other mood disturbances, but it is not suitable for severe depression
or schizophrenia unless in the arranged partnership of a suitably
experienced doctor or psychiatrist. For more information please
see limits and risks.
